Information About Valuation ...

The valuation that is included on the move is a legal liability of 60 cents per pound per article. What this means is that if you have a dresser and it weights 200 pounds, Cowboy Moving & Storage, Inc would have a legal liability of $120.00 or repair in the event that it was damaged during the move. We generally try to move our customer's possessions very carefully so damage issues do not occur. If an accident should occur, then we try to repair any damages unless they are beyond repair. If an item is beyond repair, we would settle the claim at our legal liability of 60 cents per pound. Most moves do go through with out any damages but we obviously move a lot of furniture and sometimes an occasional accident happens. For additional moving insurance, we suggest that homeowners work through their homeowner's insurance for excess value coverage.
