Freedom Service Dogs

2008 is when Mike and Sheri Gail Folsom made the decision to start giving a portion of every move to an organization that would protect and help animals. In 2010, they found Freedom Service Dogs literally around the block from their Englewood, Colorado location and they reached out to learn more about the non-profit organization. They liked what they saw and Freedom Service Dogs became the group that their donations went to. Cowboy Moving & Storage is an ongoing corporate sponsor in excess of $50,000+ in monetary contributions towards the training of service dogs.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary â€‹

About the Organization: Unlike traditional zoos, the Sanctuary is a true "refuge" dedicated to rescuing animals from horrific captive situations, including illegal trade, roadside zoos, and private owners who can no longer care for them. Once an animal arrives at the Sanctuary, they are given a "forever home" in massive, open-acreage habitats that allow them to roam, socialize, and live with the dignity they deserve.

Our 'Why': Beyond the Boxes

Moving is about more than just transporting furniture; it’s about transitions and new beginnings. We realized early on that we wanted our business to facilitate new beginnings for others, too. Whether it’s helping a veteran regain independence with a service animal or supporting local animal rescues, we believe that corporate social responsibility is the backbone of a great local business. We don't just move families; we help build a stronger, more supportive community for everyone.
